New York City--an island of man-made mountains. It is itself built on solid rock known as Manhattan schist. Rarely do we recognize the truth of this assertion until we can actually see evidence for it. In Central Park, in the winter when the cloak of greenery disappears do the bones of New York reveal themselves in all their subtle grandeur.

Wow, it looks like a different park, on a different planet in a different climate! Only you can look at Central Park with such love and knowledge about this place.
